Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! The
Ace of Cups is a great card to pull for Valentine's week. Not only does it represent love or new love, but its energy includes faithfulness and fertility. So, for all of you couples that are in strong and committed relationships, this should be a great week for you. If you're in one of these types of relationships and are thinking about getting pregnant, now might be the time. If you're not trying to get pregnant, make sure precaution is holding hands with passion.
While the
Ace of Cups is very much associated with love, this card also represents abundance, fulfillment, and a great outlook. Its secondary name is the Bounty card. If you're in a relationship, this Valentine's week might bring an overflowing of love to you. If you're not in a relationship, perhaps a friend or relative will surprise you with an incredible gift, or you'll find some extra money that will let you splurge on some new software or shoes.
Recently, while performing a major bathroom cleaning, I found a one-hundred-dollar bill in my cabinet. I was shocked. How did money find its way into an almost empty Q-Tip box? My daughter reminded me that this was leftover money from a weekend trip we'd taken. After the trip, when I found myself with a little extra cash, I hid it for future needs. This one-hundred-dollar bill is not large enough for me to splurge on
Chanel ballerina flats, so I'll just keep it tucked safely away. However, maybe you should search your home to see if there's some fun cash just waiting for you to find it.
If your search doesn't proffer up buried cash, then you should take advantage of the fulfillment and great-outlook energy that the
Ace of Cups brings. If there is something that you really enjoy doing, find a little extra time this week and do it. Paint, dance, read, run, or just sit quietly and practice the creative visualization process described in last week's
blog entry. Know that a lot of good is making its way into your life, so if nothing else, offer thanks for the joy that will soon be yours.
For those of you who are single and dread Valentine's Day, remember that the
Ace of Cups is also symbolic of new love. So don't give up on romantic relationships just yet. I know that many of you have been waiting for years to find that special someone, but just because you've been waiting for a long time doesn't mean that you'll be alone forever. And if you are in a relationship that is not working, why don't you take the new-love energy that the
Ace of Cups brings and extricate yourself from a not-right relationship. Use your time alone to make yourself ready for the right relationship.
This upcoming Valentine's week offers you the chance to revel in love, or do something fulfilling, or bring in the kind of abundance or great relationship that you're seeking. Even if the week isn't magical for you, take some action that will help you build towards a future that might see you in a better place this time next year. If you're not doing something special on Valentine's day, don't be discouraged. It's just another day and you won't wither away if you aren't celebrating it with a significant other. Me, I'll be spending the day with my accountant, and I'm just fine with that. Knowing that I'm taking care of a task that will keep the IRS out of my life, brings me almost as much joy as love would.
Have a great Valentine's week!
Namaste!
